Meet Lena and Macey! I’m certain that the day of their session it was the hottest it had ever been in Houston. But we came up with a plan and it didn’t bother us one bit. I would photograph them for a bit and then we would jump in moms car and cool off. Then we would jump out, take some more pictures and jump back in the car and cool off. It worked out perfectly, the girls loved it and we were able to get some great pictures without being super duper hot by the end!
Today I learned that I was voted the Best Children’s Photographer in Houston, an exciting but humbling event. To think that you all would take time to vote for me is such a thrill. When this journey started two and a half years ago, I had no idea what would happen, but I NEVER dreamed this. Thank you all so much for your support!!!!!!!

I owe this family a big thank you for coming out in this outrageously hot weather to have a family session. It was brutal but we got some great pictures. I felt bad that I got to go cool off in the air conditioning after their session and they were headed to football practice! Thank you Tepera family…I LOVED photographing your sweet family!

Meet Carter and Aaron. They werehere all the way from Hong Kong! I photographed Carter on their trip home last year, but Aaron wasn’t born yet. So I was super excited to meet him (and all of his precious baby rolls). I had a great time with you two boys, your beautiful mommy and your entourage of helpers! I want to use all of your helpers on EVERY shoot…they were the best!!!
