The Cox Family

I’ve known mom for a few years.  We worked on a preschool fundraiser together two years in a row and we always talked about taking her family pictures.  When she contacted me about scheduling a date I was thrilled!  Mom is one of the happiest people I know (and you can tell her daughter is too).  I’ve never seen her without a beautiful, contagious smile on her face.  When she updated me on what was going on in her life my heart sank.  She has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.  She needs our prayers.  You can read more about her story here.  Mom is a fighter and has the most positive outlook on her fight – she will beat this!  She is such an inspiration!  Not a day has gone by that I don’t think about this family and pray for this family…I hope you will join me in covering this family in our prayers!

Those are some awesome pictures. Jen is a gem of a person. She is one of the most positive persons I know. You did a great job of capturing her beautiful smile.

The photos capture their smiles beautifully!!! It is awesome to look at these and see their happiness to be together when we are so far away and can’t physically be there with them. Their smiles make me smile. Fantastic job!!!!

Great photos! I really love the first one, with Jen, David and Sydney all together! OK, I also really love the one of just Jen and Syd too.

Great job Erin!

What a treasure! The pictures are wonderful…the photography excellent…but it is the smiles and the love that so clearly shows through that is my favorite part! To have these photos so beautifully capture those feelings…I think I love everyone of them!

Jen, this is funny but, just so you know, I had typed my message of “love, love, love” before I read your message. SO……I actually wasn’t being a copy cat but just stating my thoughts ;-)

Laura Lawless - February 23, 2011 - 6:55 pm

Faye, I love you! You can copy me anytime, but maybe you weren’t looking for the Bob the Builder look. I’m definitely sold on Erin Carlyle though. I’m gonna book my setting ASAP!

Your work is beautiful–so real and so truly special. I would say that no matter what, but on top of that your subjects are so dear to my heart.

Erin, Thank you for taking such beautiful, precious photos of Jen and her family. I have known her and David since our “Disney days” and she has never looked better! I know Jen and her family will treasure these as they continue the fight of her life.

The pictures are awesome. Mostly because they are pictures of my beautiful and inspirational sister, caring and loving brother-in-law and especially my precious niece. I can’t wait to buy a few.
Thank you Erin.
