This is where it all began. This was the first family I ever photographed and I did it as a favor (even though secretly I had wanted my own photography business since I was 8 years old). That turned into one of her friends asking for me to take their pictures and then another. Next thing I knew, sweet Jen Blackmon was encouraging me to start my own photography business and I’m so thankful she did. It is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I feel blessed to be doing what I love everyday and the fact that I get to work with amazing families like the Blackmons is icing on the cake!
I adore this entire family and was very sad when they announced they were moving to Austin. We miss them like crazy but so thankful that they come back and visit often. Mom and Dad have already seen their pictures but I knew so many Houston friends would want to see how the kids have grown so I’m posting their pictures for friends! Love you Blackmon family and thank you for encouraging me. Jen, you are one of a kind! I want to be as sweet as you when I grow up!
